Minerality through limestone & slate

The mica schist and Leitha limestone typical of the geology of the Leithaberg are “mineral treasures” for winegrowing in the truest sense of the word. The hard mica schist forces the vines to root particularly deeply and concentrate their strength on just a few grapes. The limestone, which is composed of the fossilized legacy of millions of years old marine fossils, also gives the wine density and a unique, mineral note.

Leithaberg wines with a signature

We harvest perfectly ripe grapes from small plots in the best locations. Slow ageing and long maturation periods give our Leithaberg wines their purist style and the independence typical of the region. They impress with their elegant minerality and finesse. This makes them unmistakable ambassadors of the Leithaberg.
